Everyday is a new day and new experiences await you. The day might have a good start, but maybe an average end. It might also start on a not-so-good note, but end up with a happy surprise. And it might even be a quite uneventful day.
However the mood of the day, it is upon you to make the day according to your mood.
Maybe you promised your friend on Friday to meet up on Monday, but you couldn’t keep up the promise because your health went down unexpectedly. But life does not stop, right? You need to go on with the situation currently at hand. It should not bog you down.
You may have heard people say, “I had plans, but then life happened”. This is the truest line I have come across till date. It has everything that we need to know about life. You should plan according to your circumstances, situation and mood. Work towards fulfilling your plans. But if something obstructs this plan in life, then give life a chance and instead of cursing the situation, lead your mind into thinking of a way round the problem.
Every problem has a way round it. If there’s a pitfall around the problem peak, then there’s always a solution of jumping over it. But, coming to the reality, it’s easier said than done. How do you really do it?
There are at least two solutions to a problem, if not many. One is the active solution which is evidently visible but difficult to execute, maybe due to certain circumstances, situation or consequences. And then there’s a passive solution. This is the solution that most of us miss out in anxiety, but it exists. This is why I call it passive.
This passive solution is nothing but having patience and calming down. How does this exactly work? I will take an example for this. I read this very recently. Just before a storm approaches, what do all creatures do? They try to escape the storm by looking for a shelter to protect them. This is the active solution that we all look for. Do you know what an eagle does? It waits at a high point for the storm winds to strike. As soon as the storm strikes, it spreads its wings and uses the wind to lift itself up, and out of the storm.
So, while the storm rages below, the eagle soars above.
So be the eagle and use the storm in your favor to get out of it. Because unless you try the problem, you won’t know why the problem. Point to ponder?
